Guillermo del Toro's World of Horror Fantasy

October 17, 2016

Diving deep into the worlds imagined by Guillermo del Toro, Darren & Mindy explore The Devil's Backbone (2001), Pan's Labyrinth (2006) and Crimson Peak (2015). His contributions to horror-fantasy serve as the high bar for the genre. Ghosts, fairies and haunted mansions... this is our first entry into the season's Día de Muertos.

The Rants Macabre is a podcast about all things horror. Don’t let the name fool you, we delve into the genre with sharp focus and deep production (think Radiolab about scary movies). Every other week we tackle a new subject in horror and share our findings with each other. We want you to love scary movies as much as we do, so we don’t over-share plots, or give spoilers.

We have been coworkers and friends for the last 10 years, connecting over lunchroom conversations of horror movies and zombie preparedness plans.
